Safety/Structural Group Leader of MGA’s Michigan Operations. Responsible for long-term trategic implementation and daily operations of the group including customer relations, equipment and personnel development, and overall project management.
Areas of expertise include:
Fixture Design, Development, and Fabrication
- Involved in creating conceptual designs for fixture projects/proposals and seeking final customer approval through review meetings.
Side Impact and Rollover Simulation
- Responsible for the implementation of the FMVSS 214/216 upgraded test system to meet new compliance regulations. Extensive experience in vehicle body structural integrity.
Seat Frame Development
- Test procedure and methodology development for FMVSS 207/210/225 including test machine upgrades and peripheral fixture designs. Works with customers to determine correct course of action in early development to meet government compliance standards.
NHTSA Government Contracts
- Program Manager for the FMVSS 206 – Door Latches and Hinges and FMVSS 225 – Child Restraint Anchorages test contracts. These contracts are both in their 4th year.
