Quality Manager of MGA Research Corporation’s Michigan Operations. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day implementation of the Quality System as well as scope updates, new test procedure development and annual audits. In addition, a leader in the Safety Test Group working specifically on head impact and airbag-related testing. Areas of expertise include:
Laboratory Experience
- Over 10 years of technical experience in ISO-IEC 17025 certification and A2LA accreditation including multi-assessor audits, submitting objective evidence reports, and updating MGA-Michigan’s Scope of Accreditation.
Head Restraint Development
- Expertise in European regulations for vehicle export including documentation and applicable test requirements. Has worked extensively with many vehicle certification agencies and conducted numerous vehicle homologation test series for the last twelve years
Vehicle Homologation / Export Regulations
- Expertise in European regulations for vehicle export including documentation and applicable test requirements. Has worked extensively with many vehicle certification agencies and conducted numerous vehicle homologation test series for the last twelve years.
Head Restraint Development
- Test procedure and methodology development for FMVSS 202A and brought on-line the new test machine. Works with customers to determine correct course of action in early development to meet the new government standard.
NHTSA Government Contracts
- Program Manager for the FMVSS 201U – Upper Interior Head Impact Protection test contract. This contract is in its 9th year.

Professional Organization Involvement
Has participated in over 15 technical papers (SAE, IBEC, ESV), including four SAE World Congress technical presentations, related to automotive safety issues, specifically head impact, child restraints, and whiplash reduction test methods.
